To be a Lover is to be the Alchemist, diving deep into the experience that burns within us, that consumes the doubt, unworthiness, mistrust, and replace it with faith, adoration, and acceptance.
The nature of the Lover is to play, to become enamoured with every little thing, to see only the Good that resides in the object of his affection.
There’s no hesitancy in expressing warmth, tenderness, appreciation; there is only the expression of service, to enthusiastically give, to delightfully receive what is given, to cherish what is in front of him.
How can we become the Lover, not only to our own Lovers, but to our friends, our Selves, God/Goddess/All That Is? To our food, our bodies, our homes. The book that you’re reading, the whiskey that you’re drinking, the flowers you’re watering.
When we become the Lover to the present moment, the present moment reveals its infinite gifts to us. Attention and affection unlocks infinite possibilities.
